Our Approach

Support that's
practical—
and deeply
personal

Daily living support isn't just about tasks. It's about the rhythm of a good day — the morning routine that sets the tone, the clean home that feels calm, the meal that's actually enjoyable, the shower that leaves you feeling refreshed and respected.

We take time to understand how you like things done. Your preferences, your pace, your privacy. We work with you, not around you — because independence isn't the absence of support; it's having the right support, delivered the way you want it.

From a few hours a week to daily visits, our support workers become a trusted, consistent presence — so you never have to explain yourself twice, and you always know who's walking through your door.

What We Help With

Everyday support,
thoughtfully done

Daily living looks different for everyone. Below are the areas we most commonly help with — but your support is always shaped around what you need, not a standard checklist.

  • Bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, continence support and medication prompts — delivered with absolute respect for your dignity, privacy, and preferences. Your morning, your way.

  • Light cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, laundry, changing linen, tidying up, kitchen and bathroom care. We keep your home the way you like it — not by our standards.

  • Meal planning, grocery shopping, cooking and meal prep for the week. We cook dishes you actually want to eat — honouring cultural preferences, dietary needs, and family favourites.

  • Prompts and reminders for medication, hydration, and appointments. Gentle wellbeing check-ins so changes in mood, energy or routine don't go unnoticed. We notice the small things.

  • Help winding down, preparing for bed, medication at the end of the day, and overnight support where needed. Consistent, familiar faces so nights feel calm and safe.

  • Grocery runs, pharmacy visits, post office, banking, and attending appointments with you. Whether you come along or we take care of it on your behalf — your choice, every time.

  • Experienced support for participants with more complex needs — including mealtime management, bowel care, and manual handling — delivered by appropriately trained workers with clinical oversight where required.

  • Planned respite so family members and informal carers can rest, recharge and step away knowing their loved one is in safe, familiar hands. We build the trust first, always.

The Anchor & Aim Difference

The same face,
every visit

Continuity is everything. We match you with one or two support workers who learn your home, your routines, and your preferences — and stay with you. No revolving door. No re-introductions. No explaining yourself over and over.

If your regular worker isn't available, we make sure your backup already knows you. Because trust isn't built in a handover note — it's built over shared mornings and small conversations.
